Study explains why J. R. R. Tolkien’s heroes usually emerge victorious - its the vitamin D!
However, I am cautious in accepting this conclusion without further research. Seeing as dragons, hobbits, goblins, etc. are separate species from humans, they may not require direct sun exposure or dietary vitamin D to be healthy.
ahaha my college is great
The lady rats out and about in the living room.
Bottom: Luthien (looking soooo much healthier than when I first brought her home!)
Galadriel was being a little shit and hiding in the blanket and wouldn’t poke her head out long enough for me to get a decent picture. Of course, now she’s running around and being adorable.
You are all jealous of my life right now.
I went to see DKR last night; it was pretty good, though not as good as DK. However, I am really confused as to why the trailer for Superman had music from LotR. Why? Also, holyfuckingshitTheHobbit! Ah!
Some of you may have been following about my sick little rat Luthien that I got half-starved from someone who was giving her and her cage mate away. Good news is that neither she nor Galadriel have bugs anymore and Luthien is looking a bit better. She is eating and drinking (though not as much as the others) and seems to be putting a bit of weight on. She ran around for a bit last night and today, though she spends most of her time curled up under the igloo with Galadriel. They seem to both be getting along well with my other girls, Arwen and Eowyn, though Eowyn is a bit of a bitch and has been boxing G a bit, which I let slide because she is in pretty good shape. Eowyn tried to go after Lulu a few times but I pulled them apart and I think she’s gotten the message that Lu is off limits until she is a bit healthier. Hoping to see more improvements over the next few days, but if not a vet trip will be in order.
Sorry, no pictures of Galadriel and Luthien yet. All in good time.
